Our lovely neighbor David Mallon once again cooked up something really dope. In his “ITEM” series he presents “CRISTAL”, his very own BOUGIE aka Candle. Luckily we are one of three stores to carry them!
“Over the past three years, Berlin-based design bureau MaisonMallon has established a distinct, innovative aesthetic, becoming an inherent part of the Berlin creative community.
With a pioneering spirit and strong creative drive, MaisonMallon operates out of a laboratory-like, boundary-free work space called the AtelierMaisonMallon. Experimenting in different design disciplines, the Atelier develops a special biannual ITEM, which is then presented in their gallery.
Marking their third ITEM, AtelierMaisonMallon has developed “CRISTAL”, a limited edition scented candle in a unique crystal glass, inspired by founder David Mallon’s personal passion for both products. Over the past year, Mallon collected 100 vintage crystal glasses, while engineering his own scented candle in collaboration with a traditional fragrance house in France.
ITEM N°3 “CRISTAL” is available in two fragrances: Samuel (Petitgrain, Geranium & Rose) and Noelle (Cardamom, Cinnamon, Orange & Bergamot). Each piece is hand made in France, of natural ingredients.”
