This season we welcome Japanese brand nanamica to our store. We are super excited to offer the technical garments and accessories by the brand. As part of the first delivery we present a set of camouflage backpacks, with the cycling pack certainly being the highlight.
These are now in store and if they do not sell out too fast, will also make it online. Gore-Tex jackets are following soon!
Look what we just got in – as part of our most recent delivery from Mark McNairy we present the Digicamo Longwing Brogues. We wanted to do something both bold, but easy to wear this time, so we went with a grey suede and canvas digicamo on the upper, all sitting on a durable and comfortable Crepe outer sole. They should be online as well soon.
We finally received our small badge of bags from the A King Of Guise Kilim Project. Bags made from carpets that the good guys from A Kind Of Guise collected while traveling through the Middle East. Great idea and beautiful outcome. Only 4 bags of a total of 100 made and each one unique.
One of our favorite magazines has arrived in store. Obscura from Hong Kong by Silly Thing is a great men’s style magazine that reports about anything from fashion, lifestyle, food to cars and more. Layout, illustrations and the quality of the mag are just incredible.
The new Autumn 2011 issue is now in at Soto and even comes with a DIY pin-hole camera.
This week we have received VERS accessories. They produce beautiful 100% wooden iPhone 4/4S and iPad 2 cases. Currently we carry walnut and bamboo options.
This week we received the Libertine Libertine Bacco Justice Coat. A great wool coat with a two-tone design on the upper. The hood is also a nice feature and a must have for the weather at the moment.
Our newsest delivery of Mark McNairy Shoes has arrived at the shop – for Holiday 2011 we present a beautiful new navy suede Chukka boot with royal blue outer sole. It is much easier to wear than you might think. But, our favorite has to be the new brown leather long wing brogue – no big fuzz, just a beautiful, made in England, leather soled shoe that is worth every cent. Timeless and goes well with a casual outfit and a suite. BEAUTIFUL!
This week we have launched our first products under our own little in-store label – LE BERLINOIS. It is not a big deal, it is only a small start, but we have to be honest with you… we are super excited. Buying product, curating product, writing about product is fun and a big part of our job, yet it does not compare in any way to creating your own.
Der Berliner, The Berliner and in French Le Berlinois…. we start out with a small range of cashmere goods for Fall/Winter 2011 – beanies, scarves, as well as crewneck and v-neck sweaters are part of the range. Really simple, but really good 100% cashmere. Sometimes that is all you need. We have so many great brands in store that deliver heat every season, yet the most simple things still seem to be missing and we wanted to fill that void. A well sorted mens wardrobe cannot do without a nice line-up of cashmere – it feels good, it holds you warm and it lasts!
This is only a start and there is lots more to come, but we will take it step by step. Hopefully you will enjoy the ride as much as we do!

We received this week the Nike NSW Eugene Cheyenne 2000 Backpack in the shop. It comes in a black/black colorway with leather front, lots of functionality and it is simply beautiful. We have seen so many backpacks over the years and usually we do not use such big words, but this is simply put a FANTASTIC one in all terms.
We are really happy to announce, that Tantum from Los Angeles has arrived at Soto. We have been big fans of their pocket tees for a while and are happy to offer them to you now. We received a nice Mexican blanket version in several colors and also a leopard pocket tee in several colors. The tees are now in store and if they do not sell out too fast, they will go online next week.
