Paris – We’re about to finish our order round for FW12 and did quite some traveling for you guys: Florence, Paris, Berlin, Copenhagen and one or the other city is still on our list.
We’ve definitely seen some exciting stuff and wanted to share with you some sneak peaks and photos from our trip to Paris.
The end of the Fall/Winter season has come and new Spring/Summer 2012 goods are coming into the store on a weekly basis already. That means, it’s sales time. We still have some great product from the season left, but of course only very few pieces.
We had our first Soto Christmas dinner just before Christmas to celebrate our small team and show appreciation. Everybody throws so much effort and work in there that we sometimes forget to take a break, enjoy ourselves and look back.
We traditionally started out with our little “Wichtel” game meaning everybody drew a little paper and had to buy a present under 20,- EUR for the name drawn. (not that easy to come up with something original)

For dinner we went to fancy restaurant UMA at the Adlon Hotel and I’m not exaggerating when I say that we all probably had the best food since quite some time. Kitchen and staff were simply amazing!

We have also received this week a couple of new sneakers from Vans Vault. As part of the Flannel Pack we present the Era in two colorways and the Sk8 Hi in one colorway. All of them feature premium leathers and beautiful wintery plaid check patterns.
Graphic designer Lukas Schoenthal send us some images from his final university project and we are very happy to be part of it. As part of a calendar that he developed, he illustrated a scene that happened in front of our store on our infamous bench, during a relaxed lunch among friends. It is actually a while ago, shortly after opening the store, at least if I remember right. The illustrations came out really great.
